Excuses, Thanksgiving, and Snow!!

It has been too long since I have been able to blog!!  I promise I have a good reason though.... I guess I get right down to that first.

WE ARE EXPECTING!!!

And thus come the excuses.  I am so thrilled to finally be expecting, but I have been really pretty sick since about a week after we found out.  I haven't been outside much with my fur babies since activity makes my sickness worse.  Everyone says it usually ends around 12 weeks and I am currently about 10.5 weeks along, so hopefully I will be feeling myself soon!!  Until bear with me, as the posts may be a tad sparse at times.

Ben and I are SO excited though, to bring our own kiddo into this world.  We are excited to share our love of the outdoors and animals with our children and watch them enjoy gathering eggs and riding ponies and cuddling kitties and planting gardens as much as we do!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a blast.  We ate tons of food and had smoked turkey.  Need I say more?

Snow

We have already gotten a really big snow this year, and it is so early!  Here are a few pictures from today:

(The puppy belongs to my sister, she is a very sweet Australian Shepard.)

Everyone have a great weekend, and be safe if it is as snowy where you are as it is here!

  4. Aaaaahhhhh!!!! I'm so excited for you!!! That's two people who have told me about their bitty baby to be. I knew something was up, but I didn't want to get my hopes up. I'm just thrilled! You are going to be a fantastic mom.
I hope you feel better soon.
I won't offer any advice unless you ask for it. :)

  5. Awwww, congrats!!! I am so excited for you guys. I've been missing your posts, but I totally understand why! I've heard the sickness can be pretty bad in your first trimester and usually does get better when you enter the second trimester. So you have that to look forward to at least! Love the ultrasound shot :)
