Cows
The neighbors (who run a cattle ranch) let their cows out in the pasture near our house yesterday. To my delight, I noticed there were some newborn calves in the bunch! Of course, I took a couple pictures.

Thanks Lizzi - and that is a good question! I think they can calve year-round, with the farmers pretty much determining when that is by the times the allow the bulls to run with the herd. But then, I am no cow rancher so that might be totally off lol!
