May 20th, 2013 Storm
I am planning on putting up another blog post today on my lovely roses which are starting to bloom, but it just dawned on me that I have some storm pictures that my hubby took that I forgot all about! He got a couple of great lightening shots and also a few pictures to let you see how eerie things looked. I can't imagine how this storm must have looked when it was a tornado passing over Oklahoma... and I continue to pray for those affected by the horrible tornado. Such devastating damage.

Those are seriously eerie. Living in the Midwest my entire life, I know what it looks like firsthand, and these photos capture it. I've never tried photographing lightening. I just may have to give it a try!
You should! It is quite fun. :) Just don't get struck in the process... that would do no one any good lol. My husband is too much of a daredevil sometimes and it scares me!
Thanks so much, Vashti, and I feel the same - my favorites are the lightening ones! They are hard to get... my hubby literally took about 2,000 blank pictures just to get a few with lightening in them! But it is worth it. Thanks so much for following me! Also, LOVE your name. It is so pretty!
